Anirban heads human resources at Avendus Group and is based in Mumbai. As CHRO, he is responsible for people strategy, talent management and learning & development across all the businesses of Avendus.

Anirban’s career reflects over 17 years of shaping talent in the financial services and FMCG arena. He joined Avendus from IIFL Wealth and Asset Management, where he served as Managing Partner and Head HR. While there, he was part of the founding team and helped establish cutting-edge HR processes and systems in a multi-stakeholder business environment to build one of India’s leading wealth and asset management teams. Prior to joining IIFL Wealth and Asset Management, Anirban worked for four years at ITC Limited.

Over the years, Anirban has received several awards and accolades, including the World HRD Congress' Most Influential HR Leader in India in 2017. Anirban is a post graduate diploma holder from XLRI, Jamshedpur and is an alumnus of St. Stephen’s College, Delhi.
